As a Canadian, I fear for what's happening in America. I still harbour some hope that Americans will do the right thing and save their democracy. But I'm afraid the Republicans have lost their way. They've given into intimidation and fear and greed for power. Meanwhile, we have to be vigilant in our own country too.
