“I’m feeling really frustrated. I invested so much time and money into this website, and I thought it would draw people in, but it’s just not happening. I don’t understand what went wrong.”

“I’m an introvert. I don’t know how to tell people about my wonderful service.”

“Maybe I’m in the wrong business. I’m doubting my ability to attract an audience.”

“I feel like a fake. I’m not qualified enough or experienced enough.”

All of those phrases have described how I felt at one time. Back in the late 90s, I created a website design business for small businesses in Edinburgh. I spent a lot of time learning HTML coding and created my website. I even had business cards printed up. I put a lot of time and effort into creating my business. There wasn’t a lot of competition in the web design business, so I couldn’t understand why businesses weren’t flocking to my door.
